Meet Ragini Parmar, owner and founder of Nature’s Vin in Wayne.
It was meant to be shared. Talked about. Learned through. Enjoyed slowly. A reason to gather, connect, ask questions, and feel at home.
That idea is at the heart of Nature’s Vin, a natural wine bar and boutique in Wayne created around community, education, art, and a deep commitment to celebrating women.
Before opening Nature’s Vin, Ragini spent 20 years working in technology, much of that time in San Francisco and the Bay Area. During those years, she found herself drawn into the world of natural wine, first out of curiosity, then out of a personal need to find wines that felt better for her body. What began as a hobby slowly became something much bigger.
When she returned to the Main Line, Ragini noticed something missing. There was not a dedicated natural wine bar nearby, and she saw an opportunity to bring that experience to her own community.
But Nature’s Vin was never only about filling a gap in the market.
From the beginning, Ragini imagined a place where wine could become a vessel for something more meaningful. The shop focuses on women at every level, from growers and winemakers to artists, designers, makers, and small business owners. Even the build out of the space reflected that mission, with women involved throughout the project.
Inside, Nature’s Vin feels intentional, warm, and deeply personal. Ragini describes the feeling she wanted to create as home. Much of her own journey into natural wine happened in her living room, sipping, reading labels, noticing the art, and learning as she went. At Nature’s Vin, she has brought that same feeling into the lounge, creating a space that invites people to settle in and stay awhile.
The location itself carries a sense of history. The space was formerly Cowan’s Flower Shop, a beloved Wayne business that had been part of local celebrations for more than 100 years. For Ragini, continuing that spirit mattered. The flowers may be gone, but the idea of gathering around life’s moments remains.
One of her favorite memories came just before opening, when her husband quietly snapped a photo of her standing in the corridor between the wine shop and wine bar. After years of planning, architectural renderings, furniture selections, finishes, and details, she looked out at the finished space and thought it felt like something she might have found in San Francisco, only this time it was here in Wayne.
That blend of influence and intention is what makes Nature’s Vin feel so distinct. It is local, but expansive. Educational, but not pretentious. Beautiful, but relaxed. A place where wine, art, and community naturally overlap.
Ragini still sees herself as a teacher in many ways. She once imagined becoming one when she was younger, and now that instinct shows up in how she trains her staff, talks with guests, and helps people understand wine in a way that feels welcoming rather than overwhelming.
For her, the mission is what keeps the work exciting. After years in tech focused on bringing more women into that industry, she is now doing similar work in an entirely different space. Through women led wines, local art, community events, private tastings, and everyday conversations at the bar, Nature’s Vin has become a place where people can connect not just with wine, but with each other.
And if there is one thing Ragini wants people to know, it is simple.
Everyone should know about natural wine.
