How would you describe your personal interior design style?
1970s time capsule, mid century mixed with a little Italian glam
If you could only choose one song to play every time you walked into a room, what would it be?
September by Earth, Wind, and Fire
How would you describe your neighborhood?
Peaceful! Lots of birds singing. Kids playing in the neighborhood. Close to everything you need, but out of the way of traffic.
If you could use your house as the setting for a remake of a movie, which movie would it be?
Boogie Nights- but a more wholesome remake ;)
What was your non-negotiable when it came to finding your dream home?
A rancher with a garage
What's your favorite room? Why?
The main suite- It's my favorite wallpaper of the house, if has a golden glow in the morning, beautiful burled wood furniture set and the avocado bathroom.
What is one thing you need in your home to make it yours?
All the mid century furniture we’ve collected over the years.
What makes you (or your family) laugh?
Memes, Stand-up Comedy
If you could throw a theme party in your house, what would be the theme?
Obviously a disco!
A day spent running around the neighborhood: what's your first stop and last stop?
Martindale’s Natural Market, Nifty Fifty’s
How has your home changed from move-in day?
As little as possible, we had to do some demo to waterproof the basement and we put on a new roof. We honored the amazing home decor as we bought it.
What's your favorite memory of your home?
Laying on a hammock in the back yard having a nice cold drink, listening to birds sing, with my dog.
What was the catalyst to you purchasing a new home?
Quiet, ample space, a backyard, safe neighborhood, and our own driveway
What's your favorite piece of Philly culture?
The bicycling infrastructure and the street fairs.
