How would you describe your personal interior design style?
Eclectic / mid-century modern accented by local Philly art.
If you could only choose one song to play every time you walked into a room, what would it be?
Can’t Get You Outta My Head by Kylie Minogue. This one always gets us dancing.
How would you describe your neighborhood?
Amazing! We have been so fortunate to live in a safe neighborhood with so many fantastic restaurants, bars, transit access, and other amenities.
What was your non-negotiable when it came to finding your dream home?
We absolutely needed a space that was conducive to cooking and entertaining large groups.
What's your favorite room? Why?
We love the living room! It’s the perfect place to unwind with a good record and a nice cocktail.
What is one thing you need in your home to make it yours?
Our record player/vinyl collection — we are constantly spinning something.
What makes you (or your family) laugh?
Our dog, Abbey! She’s usually stretched out in a ridiculous pose or drooling over whatever we’re making in the kitchen.
If you could throw a theme party in your house, what would be the theme?
We threw an amazing 80s party complete with retro music and costumes.
A day spent running around the neighborhood: what's your first stop and last stop?
Ultimo for coffee and an epic dinner at Ristorante Pesto. There would probably be a mid-day beer at Second District or South Philly Tap Room, too.
How has your home changed from move-in day?
We’ve loved adding local art throughout the home.
What's your favorite memory of your home?
We spent our first Christmas as an engaged couple together in the home and brought our families together for a perfect Christmas dinner.
What was the catalyst to you purchasing a new home?
We have young nieces and a nephew that we would like to be closer to.
What's your favorite piece of Philly culture?
Food. Philly has an unbelievable dining scene, and we’ve been so fortunate to be a stone’s throw away from some of the most celebrated restaurants.
